Haig East Face
This 500 vertical metre face has an average angle of repose
of 45 - 48 degrees interrupted by several negotiable cliff bands. During peak
snow years most of the cliff bands are covered but avalanche stability is
dubious at best.
The first decent of Mount Haig East Face was skied by Peter
Hodgson and friends, Jeff Harker, Jean Marc Martel and Peter McGee boarding in
April 2006.
