Six Shooter

Not a true extreme route but still worth mentioning, This couloir drops 700 metres to the valley floor off the backside of Castle Mountain. Slide or boot down a 38 degree slope to the top of a moderately inclined gully of 30 - 32 degrees.

Just wide enough for about six Desperado's to leave tracks. The only draw back is the forty minute ski out at the bottom.

First skied by six cowboys in 1999: George Koch, Darrel Lewko, Colin DeClerq, Darrel Harris, Dennis Miller and Wilf Petherbridge.
